Overview

For use with 05-10 LX Dodge cars that have factory steering wheel controls and autostick. Requires the use of the ZAutomotive TranZformer.

TranZformer

The ZAutomotive TranZformer has a function called Steering Wheel Shifting. This allows the volume + and - buttons on the steering wheel to become shifting. Purchase here.

How It Works

The modified wheel button assembly has 4 wires connected to the circuit board inside. The wires consist of a short YELLOW, short BLACK, long BLUE, and a long BLACK. The short YELLOW and short BLACK will connect to the Shift + paddle. The long BLUE and long BLACK will connect to the Shift - paddle. You will connect the wires using the included male bullet connectors crimped on to the paddle shifter wires.

Operation: With Steering Wheel Shifting enabled via the TranZformer, when in DRIVE the volume buttons on the steering wheel and the the paddles will operate the radio volume. When in AUTOSTICK the volume buttons and the paddles will shift the transmission.
